Un libru di reguli di ortografia di la lingua Siciliana nun esisti. A causa di la forti nfluenza di avutri lingui, la lingua Siciliana s'â truvatu nta lu prucessu di evoluzioni, forsi, cchiù di qualunqui avutra lingua. Doppu quasi un seculu di l'urtima mpusizioni linguistica, chi fu chidda Taliana, finalmenti avemu un tentativu di un trattatu seriu, ma assai curtu e incumpletu, pi stabiliri li reguli di l'ortorafia di la lingua Siciliana. Pripusizzioni
Li pripusizzioni ponnu essiri simprici e cumposti. Chiddi simprici sunnu: a (to, at), di (of), cu (with), nni (to, by, in), nnâ (to, by, in), nnô (to, by, in), pi (for), ntô, ntâ (into), ntê (in the, plural), fra, ntra (in between), ecc.
Sti pripusizzioni si ponnu usari puru cu l'articulu diterminativu: a la (to the), di lu (of the), cu la (with the), nni la (by, in the), ecc.:

N Sicilianu avemu avverbi di lòcu:
sùtta (under), sùpra (above,on), ccà (here), ddà (there), ùnni (where), davanti (ahead, in front), doppu (after), etc..
